The best feature at this hotel are the very large suites. For family with small kids it's very convenient as it has a washing machine a fully equipped kitchenette with the dishwasher and a small mini market where you could buy whatever you need.
Service is friendly. Breakfast is plentiful but could use some more vegetables. Swimming pool is big and nice. Spa services are great and pretty reasonably priced.

We booked a Superior suite for a long-weekend. The room was very spacious, with two toilets, including 1 shower and 1 bath; a very big balcony, overlooking at the beach/sea, The kitchen was very clean and new-ish. However, other parts of the room, e.g. sofa, shower, were a bit neglected (rusty/worn). A bit of maintenance would surely benefit the hotel.

Arrived at the hotel quite late at night. Normally when you arrive at a 4 star hotel you receive a welcoming greeting and smile. Here they seemed miserable and not happy to see new guests.

They just wanted to speed up the check in process and get us away.

Got to our room after the first initial long trek to find the it. Hotel is quite big and hard to navigate around. Room was a studio which was appreciated because we actually wanted to cook ourselves during the stay. Was fairly clean, shower screen was cracked but botched. Room was nice and large.

Breakfast in the morning was something we looked forward to. Food hall was hot as the air conditioning wasnt working very well. Food was ok, not the best quality but had a selection with fresh pancakes and omelettes, but wasn't happy with the cross contamination of the pans as meat was being cooked in the same pan as the vegetable omelettes. But other than that the breakfast was nice.

Few issues a couple of nights with guests making a lot of noise to early hours in the morning next door. I alerted the reception about this, they attempted to get the attention of the guests next door by knocking their door but no answer, the noise continued .

We used the spa facilities such as jacuzzi and steam room, which was not bad but had a few flaws.

I felt that this hotel once was good or hasn't been completed yet. It was a bit run down, but still reasonable.

Its not somewhere i would love to go back to unless i had no other choice, for the similar price. The pricing is a bit overpriced if you pay the average rate. We did get a deal on an online website which was fairly cheap.

After reading multiple reviews positive & negative we decided to go ahead & book the Capital Resort.

Positives:
Reasonable price, we paid £220 for 3 nights bed & breakfast, standard room no balcony.
We were on 4th floor on the west side - I had requested this based on reading comments about building work on east side. (there is building work, but we barely heard it)
The rooms are very well equipped with kitchenette, satellite tv with UK channels, sky sports news & sports, iron, hair dryer, towels & toiletries. You also get beach towels to use during your stay which you get a voucher for.
Air con in room worked well.
The outside pool & grass area is quite nice, kept clean & tidy, albeit a little old & could do with a lick of paint.
Views looking out over the cliffs and to the sea was very tranquil, I believe you can go in the sea via a rocky route but we did not do this.
Enough beds, umbrellas & tables even at midday, but we were late September.
The waiter at the pool bar is quick & helpful , the drinks & snack menu very reasonable priced, €2 for half pint, €5 for very large potion of BLT & chips. Food here was pretty good.
Majority of the staff I came across were pleasant.
Room cleaned everyday, was not given fresh towels but we didn't really need them, was given a fresh bath mat.
The Spa looked lovely but again we were not there long enough to use.
The little location is fine, only a 10min taxis to with Coral Bay or Paphos Harbour, which cost about €10 depending on time & driver. Bit of advice make sure they put on the meter or you confirm price before journey!
There's a mini supermarket on site open 8.30-9 which again is reasonable priced and has good selection of drinks, crisp and some lunch bits.
Lidl opposite for anything else you may need.

Negatives:
We arrived at 1am, check in was swift by a 80 year old man. However..... everything was closed and could not even get a bottle of water & no water in room.
The bed is a little hard & the blind pretty thin so if you struggle sleeping in daylight, take a eye mask.
Stray cats drinking the pool water and hoovering around whilst your eating.
As me mentioned beforehand a bit out dated needs some paint, few missing tiles replaced & better signage around hotel.
No air con in communal areas.
Not much around hotel, but cheap enough & close enough to travel elsewhere.
We came as a couple, but nothing for kids here, apart from a shallow pool.
Breakfast buffet was enough choice, but poor in quality and environment. I stuck to tinned fruit & pastries as I felt it risky to eat anything else, however my husband had the fry up and was fine-just thought I would mention that.

So in summary not a 4 star & you get what you pay for!
