This hotel is very clean, modern, and comfortable. Hotel appears to be very new. Everything worked well and most the staff were good (Nina and one gentleman at the desk was excellent). The beds were a little firm for us, but not bad. Pillows were a little lumpy, but ok. AC worked well, Internet was excellent, and shower was ok (temperature did fluctuate a little). No big issues with comfort or function. We had one big issue with screaming teenagers in the hallway late at night, but that certainly is not the fault of the hotel. The one thing that we did not like was the fact that the bathroom wall is glass. Although frosted on the bottom half, and a sheer pull curtain option, you can still see anyone in the bathroom – especially the shower. One of the worst designs we have ever seen. We are married, so it was not much of an issue for us, but what if there are kids in the room? Or if two persons who are only friends or colleagues are in the same room? I just cannot understand the thinking behind making a bathroom wall out of glass? And how is it possible more people are not complaining about it? Is it typical to shower or use the toilet openly in front of friends and family here? This is very strange to us, and we would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone but couples. One thing we found very generous is that the hotel offers free daily passes for public transportation - a very nice benefit!!

I hadn't come across the Intercity brand before and I'm glad I've discovered it now. I had a very comfortable, affordable stay in a very modern, clean, well located hotel. Not more you can ask for than that! You can walk to almost everything Graz has to see, or take one of the many tram routes that converge just beside the hotel in an underground terminus.

The hotel is very close to the main Graz railway station and in fact, the tracks and platforms run adjacent to the hotel. The modern build means there is virtually no noise from the railway at all. There's no room-room noise either. The insulation is excellent.

The staff are effective, although there were some check-in issues I could have done without (being sent to the wrong room on the wrong floor) but mistakes can happen. The lobby has a lot of modern space and there seems to be some areas for smokers and gamers, although COVID seems to have closed these at the moment. Masks are required for guests and staff, as is a COVID vaccination. Not all the guests followed the mask requirement though.

The rooms aren't large, but they're not cramped. There's enough desk space for working and there's good, reliable WIFI. The huge flat screen TV offers a lot of international channels. Beds were comfortable, with pristine, clean linens. Two separate duvets for the double bed.

Bathrooms have huge walk in showers with excellent hot water pressure. Clean, new towels and a body wash/shampoo. No other amenities. There's a hair dryer provided.

Rooms have fridge and safe and good closet and luggage space.

Breakfast is excellent. It's the same each day, but there is a great variety of foods to suit every taste. Vegan options also. The restaurant space is cool, but I didn't understand why so many guests without masks chose to sit on the next table to me, when there were so many empty tables. Baffling. Not the hotel's issue.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Especially for the value. Modern, clean and comfortable are always my ideal and this property provided everything I was looking for,

Decent, clean, recently built/renovated hotel.
It has a parking garage right underneath. Not so far from the city center.
Sound proofing towards the train station is not perfect so avoid that side if you’re sensitive to some noise.

Reception was a tad slow but very friendly and helpful.
