It is really nice, rooms are clean, nice decorated, people are polite, food is excellent. We had such a good time. Nice place to sleep, near center, and I had best meal in my life there. I really felt like I was at home.

Booked at this hotel to be relatively close to the center (about 15 min walk) without spending a fortune and we were not disappointed. The place is friendly, clean and for one night we paid a very reasonable price. Easy to find, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decent sized. There is a parking lot for guests on the side of the building, very handy.
The only 2 things we disliked:
- 10€ for breakfast per person which was some ham and cheese, some cereals and fruit. A bit overpriced for the quality/selection but overall given the room price OK
- while we were having breakfast, housekeeping at already been in our room and started redoing the room with our things still in there. Normally you would wait for people to check out first, right?

Wirtshaus Greiner is an old school Austrian "Wirt" with a restaurant/bar below and simple rooms on the second floor. The rooms are small, but the one I stayed in had its own bathroom with a shower. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Nice breakfast spread in the morning with fresh rolls, cheeses, ham, etc. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was great. Greiner has a great selection of wines from the region by the glass. He also has 3 local beers on tap at the bar. The proprietor is an active part of the management and checks on your satisfaction. There is parking on site. It is a 15-20 minute walk into the city along the river. A great place to stay for the money with an insight into Austrian "gastwirtschaft" from 30-50 years ago.
