A very nice hotel, just outside of the city, all the amenities one would want, friendly and helpful staff.
Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel (facing the gardens) - this will avoid traffic noise from the major road at the front of the hotel.
The hotel is located 5 minutes by car from Loeben. The large property has a beautiful garden and is conveniently located for the major roads in the area. The restaurant serves hearty, well-cooked local dishes. The rooms are simple but have everything you need and are furnished in a local style. Comfortable bed. Beautiful mountain views from the room.
This was a 10/10 experience. Kind staff, very cute, comfortable and clean rooms. I only had breakfast included, but all the food offered at the buffet was so tasty. You can also get coffee/juice/tea/milk/fruit yoghurt, you name it. The sauna and the pool are very clean as well. The general atmosphere of the place is very cosy and you can feel like you're home instantly. There's also a beautiful garden in the backyard, with a trampoline-for children and for the young at heart, like myself.
The only thing is that it is kind of off-the-map-there is a bus stop a couple of meters away, but in case you wanna go by train, you're gonna have to walk for about 1.5 kilometers from the Niklasdorf train station.
I would be glad to visit again in the spring/summertime, so I can see what the garden looks like.

Without asking for it, we got a two-room "suite" which was very comfortable. The bathroom had recently been renovated and was very modern and immaculately clean. The included buffet breakfast was okay, but certainly not the best we had. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in Styria near Leoben. A car is essential to enjoy touring here.

The personnel is very kind and available for any requests, also for special gluten free dishes for our celiac son.
We stayed 4 nights and for us was as to be at home.
