It's a nightmare, dirthy, smelling, unorganized, this is not a 4 stars hotel but maybe a 1 star hotel. You have even to take stairs to get access to the elevetors that will take you to your room. The price of room are insult for what they are offering. Please don't do the breakfast, the personell is uncompetent, slow and unorganized. We had to wait 20 minuts for our small disgusting breakfast. The famous rooftop is complete unsatisfating. Our stay there was a complete disaster and we never come back. We hope nobody do as well!

My husband & I stayed here two nights & absolutely LOVED it! Staff were pleasant & helpful. The location was perfect! Just a short walk over the Love Lock Bridge & you meander through the streets of Salzburg. The terrace on top of the hotel was a perfect way to start & end the day.

Despite the mixed reviews on various sources, I decided to take a chance on this hotel. The hotel is obviously old but that just adds more charm to the whole Baroque style going on there. The room I got was good with a view that overlooked the river. The only thing about the room was the creaking floor as it was made of wood. Not so disturbing for me though.

The hotel has a beautiful bar on the rooftop. I had no issues with the service. The staff was quite friendly too.

Great location, interesting building, but it can do with some new make over. The room was quite large, but not decorated and a bit dull. Also, for a hotel of this price, I do expect some bottles of water, and some toiletries. Breakfast at the rooftop is a treat. Although at te side of the river, we found it very quiet.
