We stayed here for two nights in a superior double. The room was not large and the en suite frankly small. It contained all the essentials, but in a quite confined space.

There is no dining room and a small, limited bar. The breakfast provided was adequate and the coffee quite drinkable.

The two desk/concierge staff were extremely helpful and made us very welcome at the hotel and during our stay.

The hotel is tucked away in a side street which is very quiet. Everywhere in central Vienna is close by which makes this hotel a good choice for a short break in the city.

My wife and I returned to Vienna, Austria on August 31 (2015) and spent 4 excellent evenings at Roemischer Kaiser and are very happy we did. We visited Vienna for the first time in 2008 when we were also a guest at the hotel. It is an excellent hotel at a great location. It's walking distance from the metro system and excellent shopping and restaurants. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable, including those who work at the receptionist desk (specifically Cordula, Diana, and Alexander, who were all very delightful and helpful). We went on a tour of the Wachau Valley (which included Danube River cruise) which was handled by the hotel staff. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent offering a variety of breakfast items, all of which were very good. When we return to Vienna, we will definitely plan to stay at Roemischer Kaiser. We highly recommend considering this hotel.

Staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Great free breakfast until 11am and excellent location at the heart of the city. The rooms were very spacious and clean. That being said, the wi-fi was horrible and was barely working during my whole stay there.

Beautiful historic Hotel, right in the old town centre, down a quiet side street, easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants and all the attractions of Vienna. Very friendly helpful staff, very nice rooms, extremely clean, lovely breakfast that you order the night before. Cant really fault this place, we will definitely stay if we are lucky enough to visit this beautiful city again.

Located in the Innere Stadt, near to the Opera House, and really near to everything. The museums are 10-15 minutes walk away, and there are restaurants everywhere. The hotel was initially a little hard to find, but o.k. after that. It has an entrance on the pedestrian-only Annagasse, and another one on Krugerstrasse, and it's a tall, narrow building. This hotel has a luxurious feel to it. Our room was large by European standards, and decorated in the old style, with a tiled bathroom according to the original design by Gianni Versace. Robes and slippers were soft and comfortable. Air conditioning was very good, and Wi-Fi in our room was good. Breakfast is included in the room rate. You have to order from a menu the night before, and can elect to have it in your room, or served at your table in the cafe area. Although there are specified breakfast packages, you can choose one as a baseline, then add whatever you want from the others. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again
