The hotel was great...fantastic location and terrific staff. The layout and design of the rooms were also very unique. i loved the fresh fruit in the room (for free!).

I was disappointed that they didnt have a car service. when i called to ask if they could pick me up they said that taxis are easy to access and i should just try that but that they could call one for me - it seemed like they would prefer me to just get my own taxi which wasn't a big deal from the train station but i did expect them to be a bit more accommodating than that.

the exterior is very discreet and subtle but i enjoyed that a lot. Overall, i would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat...

This hotel deserves top rating. Not that much more expensive than the competition, it offers much more. The food is excellent and the rooms extremely comfortable. Location is perfect.

Spent four nights in this mod second and third story hotel, very easily missed, on a small quiet street in the north end of central Vienna. Rooms were ample, with lots of 90 degree angled furniture, light buttons, and doors mimicking walls. Bathrooms were average sized for Europe, with little shower splash protection. Central rooms had lots of books, cool lighting, and good booze on the honor system, as well as tea time. A single free Imac notebook sits on third floor. Staff was friendly and helpful, and all spoke English. Films are shown, gratis, in a little theater on the second floor; we saw the Third Man one night.

Breakfasts were included, and quite abundant and lavish. We did not eat dinner here, but if dinner is anything like breakfast, it would be very, very good.

This is located pretty close to the Stephans Dom, and has a lot of small neighborhood stores around it, as opposed to lots of other hotels. Figlmuller is a nearby popular restaurant, and the Pfandl "creperie" places are good late night eating spot.

The Hofburg and Kunsthistorisches/ MuseumQuartier are 15 and 20 minute walks away, respectively, and the Belvedere farther still. It is not too close to a U-bahn stop. To be closer to all these things, you might look for a place south of the Stephansplatz. But this is a nice place--no question.

One thing to know--to book this place, you have to pay for it in full, without the ability to cancel. This is an inconvenience in planning a trip--no question.

A charming hotel right in the centre of Vienna, 2minutes from St Stephens Square. It is unusual in that the entrance is to an apartment building and the hotel is on the first and second floors. The rooms are a good size and ultra-modern. Nothing is too much trouble and is very clean. Breakfast is a gastronomic experience: fresh fruit, selection of bread & rolls, platter of the day (cheese, cold meats, fish, salad), cake, jam, cereal, eggs however you like them, bacon, the list goes on! There is a small cinema where I watched The Third Man!

Room Tip: Hotel is not in a main street so is quiet.

This is a truly adorable hotel. We could feel the owners thought thoroughly about their guests' comfort and the result is just great!

A quiet spacious stylish and clean room (we stayed in a mezzanine one and it was just enormous - with two windows), unusual planification of a shower/WC (with not a single drop of water on the floor of the room!!), toiletries of a high quality (I couldn't resist taking a body lotion with me), warm blankets and excellent heating (it was rather important in January), friendly reception staff, fantastic breakfast (with an Italian cook and a smile every morning), orange umbrellas that protected us from rain and made people in the streets smile - so orange they were! We always had fresh fruit in our room and a flower in the vase.

The location - a few staps fron Stefan's Dome on a quiet street.

What else - ah! a mini-cinema with pop-corn, chess, books, CDs, tea with morning apple cake (a delicious cake by the way) at 5 o'clock.

You get personal attitude from the staff whatever you ask them. They helped us with the tickets, remembered our breakfast habits and so on and so forth. The staff is not there 24 hours so after everybody leaves you feel absolutely like at home opening the door with your own key and enjoying the tranquility of the evening.

If I could put 6 I would definitely do it - the hotel is just excellent!
