We had gone out specifically for the Viking Ship museum and since this was close by decided to visit. So glad we did. The grounds are a collection of various styles of buildings - some have volunteers inside dressed in garments of the time and are happy to chat about what life was like for people back then. The site was covered in snow so it was a true winter wonderland of old wooden structures including an iconic wooden church. fabulous place for photography. Loved the buildings and the volunteers - a café located near entrance - a warm respite for a snack or drink while waiting for bus.
