Description: Cafe Amsterdam is a typical Amsterdam 'brown' cafe in the middle of Oslo. On the menu: Dutch beer, great wines, a wide variety of snacks and bites like imported Dutch cheese with dill-mustard sauce, 'bitterballen' and many other original snacks you would find in any bar in Amsterdam. The bar, furniture and interior, including the art on the walls, were designed and made in Holland. From 14:00 until closing hours we serve a bar and snackmeny menu. It's bartime! Enjoy your drink and munchies at the bar or terrace/mezzanine area. Cafe Amsterdam is well known for it's international oriented character, friendly and open minded staff. You'll find the hospitable and friendly atmosphere that is typical for the Dutch, also in Norway! Also families are welcome during the day. We have children chairs and a changing table. Our team welcomes you to Cafe Amsterdam!

I go there sometimes because of an organised meeting with other foreigners via meetup.

It is always full and noisy there. Kind of a pub feeling, which I actually like.

Barkeepers ale always friendly. What is really important for some addicted people: nuts for free!

The signs outside drew us in. Friendly atmosphere and staff. We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders. They were nice and willing to offer some interesting information about the city. We truly enjoyed ourselves there. As I looked around, I could see other patrons laughing and having a good time as well. Fun spot for a few drinks.

We found it in a back street, next to a petshop with a horse outside (wooden, but lifelike)… Not corded by any means, but once we were inside, we felt the cozy and friendly atmosphere at once. Beer and a snack, no proper kitchen, nothing fancy. We'll be back!

It's a longtimer in town, even though it has moved a little bit further down the road since the beginning. Friendly athmosphere, good snacks, the beer are good but rather on a the expensive side.On the neagative side is the acoustic. Once upon a time it used to my one of my favourites in town.

We dropped by this place for a quick meal. We were met by a smiling and welcoming lady, who showed us to our table. People go here mainly to grab a beer or a drink, so the menu is not extensive. However, the food is good and service as well!
