Description: Jaipur is located in the middle of Karl Johans gate, on the first floor (above Burger King) with great views of Egertorget square. Walking through the door, you step into India with its paintings, lamps, dark furniture and delicate white tablecloths. The menu is, of course, Indian with traditional tandoori and curry dishes and a great selection for vegetarians. With such a central location, this is the perfect spot for a meal after work, before the cinema or for an evening out on the town.

Had a dinner and ordered several items like prawns, biryani etc. but none of the food is tasty and especially biryani rice is incompletely mixed with curry. Also surprised there are no fish food, when oslo is very famous this. This may not be a right choice for non veg food and also considering huge priced and low quantity with bad food preparation, is not recommended to anyone.

Jaipur is almost "can't be missed" from the sights in the heart of Oslo. It's located just along the road of Karl Johan Gate. I am grateful to have a decent buffet spread, not many choices but very nice basmati rice, masala & dali to spice up the chilly weather in Oslo. For a 99 NOK pp buffet, it's really a nice meal that you should consider trying them.

NOK 99 for a lunch buffet for about 7 dishes including rice. Available from 11am - 2.30pm. It is very reasonable for Norwegian prices. The food was delicious , we had a very filling meal. If you want some bread and drinks, you can top up at additional costs. Recommended.

on a very cold january day we ran into this restaurant and got a very good buffet for a very fair price (actually very fair in Oslo). The food was very tasty for a buffet and the lassi also tasted good. watch out because the lunch buffet has a deadline not noted outside. the staff was very friendly and asked us if we wanted more before they closed the buffet for the day.
