I just stayed one night on my own and enjoyed a clean room, everything I needed, very friendly receptionist girl, above average decor and I'd go here again and I highly recommend. It's right on the front too so excellent location.

My wife is disabled s.and a wheelchair user so finding the right accommodation can be a real problem sometime. We have used this hotel in the past and found it to be top quality. The disabled room is in an annex at the rear of the hotel. The lose of a sea view is well worth the facilities in the disabled access rooms. We found the food to be excellent with a good choice. The only criticism would be the over generous chef who dose not know the meaning of small portions.
The location is great a short walk to the sea front and also the shops are too handy for a guy who is not the best at waiting for his wife outside most of the shops.
Wheelchair access to the accommodation is excellent, our room had a walk in shower and a walk in bath. The fluffiest towels ever and the friendliest of staff.

Room Tip: Disabled rooms are 7 &8

Fancied a few days away. Decided on The Winchmore Hotel in Llandudno. A clean, homely Hotel with free parking. We had a lovely sea view. Breakfast was very good served quickly and efficiently by very smart friendly staff. We decided on eating out for evening meal but one was available if required. There was a bar and a lounge with a large TV and a lift to every floor also very good disabled rooms on ground floor. One small downside a small amount of cometic attention needed to shower tray. And a wedding reception on sat night made it a bit difficult to get off to sleep so pop some eat plugs in case if staying a sat night. Would defiantly say here again.

Hi Susan, thank you for your review of our hotel. It's great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and would like to return.
Saturday nights are busy but functions are very very rare at our hotel, it is not something we do on a regular basis, we understand that functions can be busy and we try not to upset other guests when we do hold functions.
We did have a reasonable cut off time for both music in the basement and the bar to avoid disruption. We hope this didn't spoil your stay and hope to welcome you back again.
Kind regards,
GRM

This room is advertised as non smoking single room, all amenities and the photo looks lovely. Unfortunately room number 51 is on the main route for all persons entering hotel from the car park! outside the room is a seating area for smokers guests and staff?. Unable to open window due to noise of persons sat smoking drinking outside, or smell of smoke in the room, when dark security light lights up room even with curtains and blinds closed. Unable to be in room without blinds shut on all windows, as people look in as they pass. Persons leaving early morning on coaches wheel suitcases past your room. On same floor of dining room and woken up by staff re arranging the tables after a wedding, dragging them on the floor. So no point in saying breakfast from 8.30 when at 6.30 you are awake.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our hotel.
I'm sorry to hear of your experience during your stay with us, I will look in to this for you.
However, I would like to point out that we advertise this room very clearly as an annex room, meaning this room is joined on to the hotel.
We have also added several photographs on our booking agency websites that show the rooms location and that it has a seating area outside.

Guests are free to use this area as they so wish as they are with the seating area at the front of the hotel. I do understand if it is getting late and there is a nuisance then we will deal with the matter at hand, which I am led to believe that the wedding party were in fact asked to use the front of the hotel once you had alerted staff?

We must appreciate this is a busy, working hotel and that guests will more than likely pass your room at one stage, no matter what your rooms position in the hotel.

It's a shame to learn your experience was not as good as we would hope, we do hope that in the future you will give the hotel the chance to rectify this.

I have been informed that you did speak with a staff member on duty and problems were solved on the day which is nice to hear.
Hopefully next time we can get a 5*

Kind regards,
GRM
