We called here whilst visiting Llandudno. Friendly staff and the menu looked inviting. We decided to eat but unfortunately this pub us not as enlightened as many are now and doesn't allow dog's inside. So we had to sit outside and it was quite cold despite the heaters provided. The food was excellent and plentiful. They just lose one star for their dog policy.

After a long journey up from the West Country we were struggling to find a 'nice' place to stop for lunch (along the north coast from flint to Conwy). I'm probably too picky, but if the pub looks grotty from the outside then it's not for us. I was getting a bit 'hangry' by mid afternoon (understandably). So was relieved when this gem popped up on Trip advisor. Super cute from the outside, we went inside. Great choice. There was a great choice (including gluten free) and drink. The ham, egg and chips, fish and chips and steak pie were just the job. Not the cheapest pub, but the food was excellent and so was the service. Too full for puds, we were soon back on the road.

Lovely old fashioned style pub in the backstreets of Llandudno. A hidden gem when it comes to food - absolutely top class pub grub. I had chicken breast on a bed of one of the best risottos I've ever had, followed by a sublime lemon cheesecake. Good selection of ales. Friendly atmosphere. Heartily recommend.
