Called in on. Sunny afternoon admitted, told to pick our own seat and they would take our order in a minute. 20 minutes later we had to ask to be served. A pity really, probably due to lack of practice after lockdown, the outdoor area is well appointed, comfortable and the drink selection is good. I have been before with no problems and will probably go again.

Stopped off by chance after a long walk with our four children. Excellent experience. Great food, children’s meals such good value for money. Such friendly helpful staff. Definitely returning very soon.

We didn’t have a reservation and were welcomed without feeling like it was a nuisance. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely out of this world. I have seen the other reviews saying the experience was unusual, well we are out of a pandemic and restaurants have to adapt (e.g paying before a meal). I would highly recommend.

Very strange experience.
So we were taken to our table by a young man who failed to wear his face mask correctly by not covering his nose. He handed us the menus and took our drinks order, when the drinks came he asked us to pay for them there and then, and the same happened after ordering the food, ive never prepaid for food in a restaurant before.
They had a choice of 3 starter, Conwy mussels sounded great so after ordering them I was told they have sold out. BASIC restaurant training, tell your customers what’s not on the menu when you had the menus out.
So we went straight to the mains. A very tasty piece of braising steak, possibly one of the cheapest pieces of beef available, £15 price tag made no sense.
The table next to use open up there home made sandwiches out of kitchen foil and started eating.
The whole experience felt like they couldn’t be bothered even though the staff were friendly and polite, in think the landlord has been there far to long.
I won’t be eating there again.

Booked a meal in the restaurant but was put in the bar area. Waiter came to take or order but we hadn't been given the menu. The waiter informed us that it was for drinks and that they had to be paid for first as drinks and food were to be dealt with separately. Next a waitress arrived to take our meal order, after placing our order she asked us to pay before we had received or consumed our meal. We were made to feel as if we would run off without paying. Being a 71 year old and a 62 year old we couldn't run anywhere, never will we visit this pub again. The meal was average and we found better value elsewhere within the resort.
