Having stayed at this particular premier inn on a number of occasions and as always the staff at reception where extremely helpful and the room was excellent as always. The new rooms they put in a few years ago really make a difference.
The highlight of the stay though was breakfast the next morning in the brewers fayre next door. My girlfriend is Wheat/Lactose intolerant and mostly gluten free. Our server Becka was really friendly and knowledgable and made the whole experience fantastic. It’s the little things that make the difference. We will be back :)

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Views over marina. They offer valet parking as car park is small . Nice greeting at reception . Room good size with lovely plush furnishings and good size bathroom. We didn’t have a view from our room . Evening meal ok but I’ve had better for he price - consider other restaurants nearby which are cheaper . Breakfast was tasty and good offerings . Disappointed that a hotel that is obviously aiming high offers instant Cadbury’s hot chocolate - not even made with milk when requested from bar - horrible flavour and watery . Bar pricey and they had service charge to everything . You don’t seem to have a particular waiter/ waitress - which an be confusing when you are chasing something .beatiful artwork and decor everywhere . There was a fire alarm early on Sunday morning - we started to evacuate and it stopped - I was dissaponyed that no staff members came up to allay fears and explain what had happened - it wasn’t mentioned even though it had lasted a good 15 secs . Lots of places to eat in Ipswich and good for travelling out elsewhere but not a lot on offer from town itself

    Stayed: April 2018
