“idillic place to stay - so peaceful yet very modern”
Reviewed 30 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This was our second stay in this chalet. It is so beautiful and peaceful, yet not far from Needham Market or Woodbridge. The chalet is well furnished and very comfortable, it has everything you could need, including wifi!.
The owner is relaxed yet ready to help if required.
We shall certainly go back there again - we visit relatives and its an excellent base.
The village has lovely walks and a well stocked shop with specialist cheeses and other groceries.
Highly recommended.

“A comfortable and pleasant stay”
Reviewed 27 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

The lodge was compact, well equipped and comfortable with a pleasant rural outlook. It was a great place to be able to explore other parts of Suffolk and easy access to Ipswich. Good walks nearby. Grahame made us welcome and was helpful. We appreciated the Wifi. We would be happy to do a return visit.

“Peaceful, relaxing and excellent accommodation”
Reviewed 19 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

A beautifully maintained, comfortable Lodge. Ideally situated for touring Suffolk and Norfolk as it is within easy distance of the A14, the coast and and many historic houses and gardens. The two Lodges sit overlooking a paddock, with secure parking. There is easy flat access to the lodges with paved sitting area and chairs. We stayed in Woodpecker and found it well equipped, lovely and clean, very comfortable bed and a hospitality basket awaiting our arrival. Malcame the owner was very friendly, obliging and is very informative regarding the area. The village of Coddenham has a lovely well stocked shop selling local produce and unusual gifts.

“a beautiful place to stay”

The lodge is well equiped and tastefully decorated. We just loved it there. As it's off the road it is quiet apart from birdsong. We saw birds, and rabbits and hares while eating breakfast outside in the garden. A rural, peaceful place to stay. Although rural it is very easy to drive to Woodbridge, Ipswich, Framlingham and other locations.
We would definitely hope to return for another holiday.
