Lovely and clean, fresh smelling, Check-in machine good, Breakfast tasty however Bacon was bit on the dry side.
Room No 1, was spacious and bathroom shower good. Shower Gel, Shampoo provided. Biscuits to enjoy with tea/coffee a nice touch, as was the bottled water.
Only downside to room was it was by the road and Traffic noise kept us awake.
Thank you for a lovely stay

Room tip: Ask for back room to avoid traffic noise

Booked the hotel has it had 9* rating. However albeit we were aware that we would have a 'small double' we were not under the impression we would have to climb over the bed to get in it- a lamp on a bedside table was crammed in on one side onld.y not even a small shelf to put a glass of water on was provided on the other side and you had to climb over the foot of the bed to get in as no space to walk down other side of be. The room we had was no9 - right at the top of the house, no lift not that that was an issue for us. However is really not a 'small double' but a single room with a double bed jammed in.
The hotel is on a busy road so was quite noisy.
It was relatively clean, though there were cobwebs on the overhead light, and lots of marks on the wall - probably from people squeezing in. The breakfast very good and staff friendly.

Room tip: If you decide to stay do not go for bedroom 9 you may be disappointed as we were

My sister and I visited friends this weekend in Poole and I booked Blue Shutters Guest House after reading some really positive reviews. And I am going to reinforce that! What a lovely place to stay for our short break. The self check in was brilliant and convenient for us as we arrived fairly late. The room was spacious, neat and very clean. Extra special touches were in the rooms which you don’t normally find in a B&B - complimentary bottled water, excellent toiletries and sundries and even a USB plug charger! Having the beautiful shutters made our room light and airy and a refreshing welcome change to curtains. The breakfast was truly amazing... I couldn’t fault it and finished the lot. The staff we chatted to were friendly and attentive. If our friends suggest staying with them next time we visit, we will politely decline and definitely book in at Blue Shutters again, we enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you.

We have just returned from a short break in Poole, staying at the Blueshutters. Efficient booking in system. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with towels and tea coffee facilities. The hotel was quiet even though quite full. A huge thanks to the lovely ladies who gave a bright morning welcome and served a beautiful maxi, midi or mini full English. The local pubs and a couple of restaurants are within walking distance. The town centre and most beautiful Poole Harbour can also be easily walked for those who like to walk. I recommend to stay at Blue shutters if staying in Poole.

Excellent communication throughout. Very nice, clean rooms with all the touches you would expect. Fabulous vegetarian breakfast; just a shame that I couldn't eat it all because of the equally fabulous curry the night before within 10mins walking distance. Will definitely use again when required. The one tiny problem I had was that my shower wouldn't run hot - forgot to mention at time (room 6).
