This is a great chippy but can’t understand why they have a pre order system that you have to call and then they give you a time slot to collect, however you turn up at the given time to be told ok we will get that ready for you, then you have to stand outside for 30 mins before it’s ready, pointless and annoying.

Usual great fish and chips. Takeaway brilliant, fresh, hot and so tasty! Great service and value too. Will be back soon.

Have ordered from here before and it’s been fine, but today’s offering was awful. Ordered cod, 2 chicken burgers, nuggets and chips. Chips were fine, albeit only warm, but the fish was covered in oily soggy batter. Had to scrape it off. It was inedible. The chicken burgers were tiny and like the fish, were soggy and limp. The Mayo in the burger tasted of fish and all the meals were cold.

Visited Howard’s fish and chips this evening and ordered 2 large fish and chips... unfortunately the fish was all batter and hardly any fish and this tasted greasy and batter was over cooked...the chips were nasty dry and tasteless and didn’t seem fresh all this for nearly £16 really disappointed and won’t be visiting again threw away in bin...best make a sandwich!

Ordered three large fish & chips & two pots of curry sauce through Uber from Howard’s when it was delivered the fish was missing!
Telephoned Howard’s who said I had to get a refund from Uber as they couldn’t redo the order, too busy! When I contacted Uber the refund they are going to send for three pieces of fish is £6.44 my order was £21.90
Feel let down by Uber & Howard’s beware.
