This place hasn't got an extensive menu, but there should be enough to satisfy most.
We had lunch here. The surroundings are unusual and funky. The emphasis is on healthy , but tasty eats.
I had chicken skewers , served with warm pitta bread and a side salad and a small helping of hummus. There were 5 very tasty chicken skewers - a very good portion.
The salad was a bit dry and we asked for some dressing. They gave us very thick balsamic - maybe a nice vinaigrette would be better?
My partner had a delicious flatbread.
Happy to eat here again.

Great to hear your comments and so pleased you liked your chicken skewer lunch and healthier options on the menu. You're absolutely right, not a huge menu but really wanted to focus on a simple menu with freshly cooked food with quality produce cooked and prepared in our open kitchen. As a cafe and not a restaurant we hope people will like the relaxed, easy atmosphere and be able to pop in for a coffee or a light lunch/brunch. Extra salad dressing always available but perhaps should make it a standard. So pleased with your comments! Many thanks!

There are a lot of "similar" coffee shops around this location but Windowbox can safely claim uniqueness in this fast becoming popular eatery style. The place is very spacious with an airy and bright interior. A very pleasing atmosphere as you walk in. Nice seating as well as a very welcoming and friendly staff. But what really sets it apart is the food. In here you don't get your usual breakfast brunch generic menu we have become acustomed to. No bacon, sausage or benedict eggs. In here you get breakfast and lunch dishes with Tofu, pomegranate, creole etc. And they are all prepared in a the most tummy way. Put your preconceptions aside and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Hi Pedram Z and many thanks for your comments! Only recently opened and wanted to bring something new to the area and we're really happy that you think we have! Would never knock a 'full English' but we thought it would be nice to have some alternatives. Glad you like our vision for Windowbox Cafe and hope you'll be back soon!

What a refreshing change to find an eatery that serves fresh, tasty healthy dishes as well as naughty treats. Whether ordering from the Breakfast/Brunch menu or Lunch Menu the mouth watering choices are plentiful. Yesterday, I tried a very generous portion of the chicken skewers with humous, salad and fluffy warm pitta. Delicious. Today it was the toasted banana bread with Greek yoghurt, honey, berries and walnuts - heavenly. It is now my mission to work my way through the entire menu! Friendly service, trendy decor and fab food - don't miss out!! Thank you Bobby and Andreas for giving us the hottest new venue! X

Nice atmosphere, quality food and delicious coffee! French toast was scrumptious and scrambled eggs were terrific!
