I have only visited magna once, when it first opened however. I have been to the park that they have outside numerous times and i must say for a park it is fantastic. Its free and can entertain the kids for hours. Whilst at this park i have always spoken to people that have come out of the magna main building and they are 9 times out of 10 dissapointed that they spent the money they did. Mainly becasue most of attractions inside are broken or not working but they wasnt told before they purchased the tickets. Double check before you buy people.

Maybe if you really like steel, maybe if you like the dark with strange sounds around lol. It is billed as being an ''Adventure', the layout is poor. However many people did seem to be enjoying it more than we did, stood in the dark listening to a talk. Hands on exhibits pretty much consist of pressing a button for a light to turn on. Maybe I'm ruined by the Science Museum in London - which is free entry and outstanding!
The staff were friendly and we also ate there which was fine - staff very helpful in there.
I just think it could be better, especially for the cost. Yes you can come back again all year for free, but why? I can see that the outside play area is good and that when the water is on in the summer it'd be really good!
All in all my kids weren't interested in the 'adventure centre' and nor was I.

We are here now as i right this !
Where do i start ! £53 entrance fee ! Absolute joke !
I last visted this place around 8 years ago and vowed never to return , however my daughter and partner fancied a visit !
The majority of the exibts where broken or out of order and the place just looks really tired , for such an expensive entrance fee i think its time to reinvest some money in this dinosaur of a place, were all feeling a little disappointed, kids are enjoying park out side bit would have also like free council park at home tbh !
Terrible value for money

Wanted to visit for a while but was a bit disappointed with it. It was really cold and some of the exhibitions were broken. To say it was 40 quid to enter it was disappointing that they were broken. The information was also lacking, it needs money spending on it. Kids enjoyed the fire and water bit and the outdoor playground but the rest was a bit rubbish. Wouldn't go back
