Price range: US$13 - US$27
Description: Bistrot Pierre's 'raison d'être' is great value French cooking and seasonal menus. We like to combine French bistrot classics such as steak-frites, boeuf bourguignon and tarte au citron with our own take on regional favourites like tarte flambée, Bouillabaisse and paté de campagne. Our relaxed and friendly bistrot is the place to go for any occasion. Open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner we have something for everyone, from the two-course prix-fixe lunch for £11.95 and a two-course pre-theatre menu for £14.95 to the sumptuous a la carte menu, and for those with little time we now also offer a one-course lunch menu for just £9.95. Wander through our distinctive French wine list too, with over 20 French wines sold by the glass you will discover something exquisite to drink with your meal. For something a little special we also host a range of events at the bistrot. Join us on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month for our Soireé Gastronomique, a six-course set menu with hearty provincial cooking. This is outstanding value priced at £22.95 per person. In addition, we also offer a special Dine with Wine evening where each course comes with a glass of specially chosen wine. This takes place on the first and third Wednesday of every month, so join us for a delicious two or three course set dinner menu for £22.95/£27.95 per person. We want to make sure there is something for everyone on our menus, whatever your dietary requirements. We came here for dinner with friends mid week and we had a great evening. We had watched the transformation of the clothes shop into an modern French bistro with interest and had finally visited it for dinner. It doesn't feel like a chain restaurant at all. Lovely, friendly, welcoming staff and great French bistro food. The beef Bourguignon and the Moroccan Lamb were both lovely. A welcome addition to Altrincham centre. It will definitely become one of our favourite places to eat in Altrincham. Looking forward to coming to one of the Wednesday wine specials too.

I reviewed Bistrot Pierre about 1 month ago after a less than satisfactory meal and service. I re-visited after an apology from the manager and it was a completely different experience. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and served promptly. After this experience I would most definitely visit The Bistrot again!

this restaurant fills a gap since Francs had ceased to operate. It is French and there is a variety of dishes to choose for all tastes. the food is excellent and the staff friendly. Although a bit noisy, my wife and I have been three times with friends and/or family and we never have been disappointed. To be recommended.

Popped in here tonight having read the menu on the window yesterday and seen how vibrant the place seemed to be. I had the two course meal but there was loads to select from. Also an extensive wine list with the majority of the wines available as a glass which as a solo diner is a refreshing change from just the house in three colour options and two sizes! I come to this area every few months for work purposes so will definitely be back.
The option of the loyalty card is nice too. Not sure how often I'll be able to take advantage of it but have signed up anyway. Thank you for making a solo lady's dining out a pleasure.

We had the 2 courses for £14.95.
The food was incredible. I had the now famous beef bourguignon and it was melt in the mouth delicious.
Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.
