Total relaxation and all the staff made sure we felt comfortable and nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything. It was a really happy and pleasant experience. We were totally spoiled throughout our stay.

Room Tip: You don't really need any tips. The staff are always there to help.

We usually stay here at least once a year. The service and the staff are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is very good. Sidmouth is a lovely little town and there is plenty t9 do in the area. Exeter City is also worth a trip.Would recommend.

We have been visiting The Victoria for 13 years and recently taking short breaks three times a year. Everything was excellent as usual with a warm welcome from the staff who remember us. I do however have one small grumble and that concerns the piped music. Please, please, please may we have a rest from Richard Clayderman. I enjoy his music but not all day every day, the same pieces over and over again, every time we visit. In the dining room and in the lounge, he's always there! Please may we have a change. I mentioned this to one of the management so it will be interesting to see what happens by the time of our next visit.

A word for Ray. We walked into the town and returned in the rain. Ray came down the drive to greet us, umbrellas in hand. What more could you ask, always helpful and cheerful.

We were given vouchers for Sunday lunch here and I'm so glad we did. Everything from the welcome, the service, the food cannot be faulted. We started with the buffet selection which was mouthwatering. We both went for the lamb as the main course and there was just enough room for a dessert. We felt well fed washed down with a Merlot wine from Chile. Absolutely wonderful

we visited the white room for an anniversary celebration. The experience was excellent. Greeted on arrival by our friendly waitress she pointed us in the direction of the bar and someone took our coats. This was after ascertaining whether we wished to have a pre dinner drink at our table or not. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar with accompanying canapes and the waitress brought us the menus for the white room for us to make our choices. When we had chosen our menu items and finished our drinks she escorted us to our table. The meal was excellent from the ham hock terrine and scallops as starters and the dover sole for mains served with accompanying vegetables. We did not wish to have desserts but had a very enjoyable coffee in the lounge to end a memorable evening. Certainly one that we will look to repeat in the future.
