Great relaxing place to visit and walk up the ravine. Watch out for the friendly squirrels that eat nuts from your hand and the legendary battleship reenactment exhibition which leaves a big smile on your face.

Always enjoy a walk around here, they look like they are doing some improvements. Didn’t go on pedlos this time but did last time and enjoyed it. The battleships are also good when it’s on.

The kids were free to enter the museum and we paid £5 each, but that gives us an annual pass.

A good clean park and playground.

Well worth a visit for the money.

As well as the lake and the main park area we wandered up and down the paths alongside the stream. There are lots of paths leading up the ravine. All worth exploring. See if you can find the lily pond and just after that a first world war cemetery with a board telling the lives of three people.

Had a lovely stroll round the park which is so nicely kept. Geese and ducks on the lake, weather was shocking but you can't predict that. Plenty of seats and there's toilets and a cafe.
