My wife and I stayed at the Grand Burstin Hotel for 4 nights from 26th March 2018. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and the hotel was large but very clean. We didn't pay much for the stay so our expectations were not high. When we got to our room we were so surprised. The room was large and clean, with 3 beds, plenty of storage room and a nice en suite. To cap it all there was a lovely sea view from the window. The meals were all buffet style, so you could eat as much as you wanted. There was a good choice of meals and having tried most of them can vouch for the quaility - the food was superb! To cap it all our drinks from 7.30 pm until 11pm were priced at 99p. The entertainment was sufficient for our needs and If you wanted to use it there was a good size swimming pool, sauna and well equipped gym. All in all this was a fantastic bargain. In essence with the food, cheap drinks and entertainment the room cost was for virtually nothing.

Room Tip: There are lifts to all floors so accessibility is not a problem.

Had a 5day stay at this hotel . The hotel is very run down,no one to help with luggage.Room needed updating but reasonable clean. Food after queuing was cold only had one good meal in the 5day stay.Hab to eat out most of the time. The staff were rude most of time . The 99p bar is very limited to what you can have . Would I recommend No.

This was a late Mother’s Day treat with my own mum. A coach trip and travelling 7 hrs to get here. The bathroom is dirty, splattered paint markings, room service only made the bed and forgot to replace the towels, bedding very thin , rooms very cold so yes heating us a must. Entertainment terrible as same people doing it all and eventually gets boring, travellers(gypsies) are allowed in as well locals and are rude, noisey, taken over the evening Ballroom/Pub , ceiling fell down twice in the ballroom and nothing was done. Food on first day was under cooked, breakfast was fine, cutlery and bowls dirty. Only staff member that’s polite and happy to help is Stephen Heath ...too good for the hotel. Would not recommend this place to anyone , waste of money better places to go next time . Did get a great view of harbour from room.

Far from nice. Only good thing is the staff. The hotel is well past it's sell by date the food is really not to be looked at never mind anything else. Plates was dirty and not just 1 looked and looked for clean one and then just gave up and went weatherspoons down the road. The rooms are very dirty and old and just all round in bad condition.

Absolutely disgusting! £45 to stay in a filthy dirty room! Stained chairs, bulging dirty ceiling and stained dirty bathroom floor which smelt like a public room! Thank god we only booked one night! Would definitely not recommend!!
