We really enjoyed our stay at Burnlea finding it to be well located with easy accessibility to the lochs, countryside and Glasgow. It was also close to amenities and had a good selection of pubs and restaurants nearby. The cottage itself was in a really pretty valley and we saw regular sightings of Red Dear and birds of prey. There were 5 adults, 2 children and a dog staying in the cottage and although the cottage could be improved with some updating/decorating it was very spacious and well equipped. We found the booking agent really helpful and there was a good information guide in the cottage itself. We would stay here again.

Really tranquil cozy cottage. Beautiful location in little known corner of Argyll -great walks straight from the door - waterfalls, hills ,sea lochs gardens, castles all nearby. Feels utterly remote yet 15 mins from Dunoon's shops and internet cafes - check out Season cafe on sea front - wifi and great baking. Slept so soundly in comfy beds, great relaxing on big squishy sofa in front of a roaring log fire. We cooked fabulous local wild venison and had great meals at local restaurants ( Inver Cottage at castle Lachlan - superb, even for the vegan in the familly) A great holiday - definately going back
