As soon as we walked into the Templemore apartment we knew we loved it, it has all been recently refurbished to a good standard and is clean and lovely everywhere. The owners very kindly left us 'welcome' gifts of wine, cakes, eggs (from their own chickens), milk and orange juice.
The apartment has everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a parking space. We cooked most evenings and found all of the appliances excellent and easy to use.
Buxton is a good base for a Peak District holiday and seemed to be quite central to the areas we wanted to explore.

We've just returned from a wonderful week in Buxton @ Templemore Apartment, we would have stayed longer, if we could.
At the top of a gated, gravel drive, with allocated parking, the apartment is modern, but homey, small but not pokey & very easy to keep clean & tidy.
Wine, tea & coffee, milk, fresh eggs & cream cakes were provided by Sue & Steve to welcome us. They were there for any problems (none!) & information throughout our stay.
The well equipped kitchen meant we didn't have to eat out every night, but there are loads of reasonable, local eateries & watering holes if you do. (The Cheshire Cheese, 53 degrees North, Lonestar & Michaelangelos Italian were all good & not too extravagant)
There is plenty to see & do, both in Buxton (15-20 mins walk) or the surrounding area. Chatsworth is less than an hour away & there is local countryside at the bottom of the hill.
If you don't want to venture out, the balcony overlooks the garden & has the sun for most of the day, or you are welcome to use the garden areas. You may get to share with Poppy (the Labrador) &/ the chickens. (who provide very nice breakfast eggs :-) )
