My children and I spent a lovely day sticking, cutting and creating loads of spooky creations this Halloween at Worthing museum. Staff were super friendly and supportive of my children's creativity and supplies of crafty bits and bobs were never ending. For the small charge, my children were allowed to make as much as they liked using materials provided and left smiling and talking about the next time we can go do crafts at the museum!

Quaint, not fab, but still nice and interesting. Sadly the place needs smartening up, particularly the front. The few members of staff are cheerful and interested in their job, which helps. There are some pieces that stand out. The portrait of the actres Dorothy Primrose by Wien is outstanding.liked my visit, but would have liked more effort made for children of a cheerful nature. Something for them to remember. It is great that Worthing keep it open, but needs to be more inviting.

A walk back through history, like watching a period drama like the brontes or Tess. I don't know how the museum preserves so well the costumes in the cabinets. The costume trail is found in various locations on a map (I managed to find one in a coffee shop and one in the Connault), beautiful gowns. I loved the exhibition they've got on now displaying vintage fans. Some are displayed with their original boxes. The best ones to see, in my opinion are the ivory handled ones , the children's fans, and the oriental ones. A nice quiet hours spent again in Sunny Worthing, 2017.
