We ate here for the first time last night, joined the queue five minutes before opening and were able to get a table straight away. Queuing didn't seem too arduous for those left waiting outside as they were able to order drinks in the street. Excellent pizza and cocktails, fast service, clean and fun decor which our young children enjoyed. We will be back!

If, like me, you prefer your pizzas to be light and tasty, then look no further. Our pizzas were delicious, as was the garlic bread. There was no queue and the food came out quickly. This place get busy, and they don't take bookings, so pick your time well.

Andy is the Ultimate Pizza Maestro! Until Flints came on the scene, you had to travel to Pizzas in Paradise, English Harbour, for a really great pizza. Andy changed all that-I can now potter down to Captain Flint's instead of flying half way round the world. For a real treat, try Silver's Revenge with extra anchovies, a mixed salad on the side, and a long, cold beer- out of this world! And not forgetting the Greatest Hostess in the World- Jane is No 1. You can spend loads of dosh eating out in Salcombe- but I guarantee you'll never forget this place...

We ate here four times during our recent week long stay in Salcombe which shows how much we loved Captain Flint's. The food was faultless and there was a good selection of drinks including cocktails. What really makes the difference though is the staff who are hardworking, friendly, good fun and patient. Go for the Dick Joyce pizza if you like spicy seafood. Only downside is that you can't book a table in advance so you may have to queue to get in. Even this wasn't a big issue as drinks were served to us whilst we waited by the wonderful waitresses. 5 Stars!
