We stayed at this very nice small hotel on a Sunday recently. It is a very nicely presented Regency house with excellent staff and service. Our room was very nice. The only slight downside for us was that we were expecting an a la carte dinner in the package which turned out to only be a carvery or pub style meal on a Sunday. Whilst it was a good carvery, nice rare roast beef, the a la carte menu we saw before we sat down was really superb and if it had been available it would without doubt have received a 5 out of 5 from us. We had chosen and booked at this hotel via Voyage Prive specifically because of the a la carte offering they highlighted, and would otherwise have chosen a more convenient location somewhat nearer to our Hereford destination.

It has to be said that our package was very good value, but just not quite as advertised by Voyage Prive.

We would recommend Glewstone Manor strongly, but only on a day other than Sunday unless a good carvery or pub quality meal is all that is required. In fairness, there were other options to the roast beef, but none really appealed on the day having been choosing from the really tempting a la carte menu in our room which had all the AA 2 Rosette features and trimmings one would expect.

We went for Sunday lunch which was probably our 4th visit to glewstone, the food was delicious as always; sometimes vegetarian options can seem like an afterthought, but never here. As always the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and Glewstone really is one of the most gorgeous settings to spend your Sunday afternoon - especially if it happens to be infront of one of their roaring fires!
I cannot recommend this place enough, my fiancé and I absolutely adore it, which is why we have chosen to have our wedding reception here :)

Having researched for hours (literally!) for somewhere to have a celebration meal, we found Glewstone Court.
We arrived early, but were warmly welcomed and sat by a fire, in beautiful surroundings. The meal itself was delicious, and served by attentive and friendly staff.
My only criticism is that the website does not do this place justice!
Thankyou, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Yesterday my mother celebrated her 90th birthday with lunch in a private room at Glewstone Court, for twenty friends and family. I had discussed the menu, table arrangements and other requirements with Amy some weeks previously and all went exactly as we had planned. Our party enjoyed prosecco and canapés in the lounge before enjoying a leisurely three course lunch followed by coffee and birthday cake in the privacy of our own room. The food was very good, service was polite, efficient and discreet and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We were lucky to enjoy a beautiful autumn day so the grounds at Glewstone Court provided a very picturesque backdrop for some family photos at the end of the day. Our thanks go to the Glewstone team for making the lunch such a memorable occasion.
