Live locally and have eaten here several times (often for Sunday lunch). Really nicely cooked food, good quality ingredients and well presented. Slightly more interesting vegetables, too. Service is very attentive and the dining room is smart. Attracts the older-age group (or people staying there on business during the week). Never had a bad meal there, would recommend.

Room Tip: Reviewing Sunday lunch, so no experience

The sun was shining so instead of taking Sunday lunch in Harry's restaurant we opted to dine on the terrace adjacent to the hotel bar which is fringed with beds of red roses and lavender with the hotel's large tree lined park in the background and wooded hills in the distance. The terrace is furnished with substantial slatted wooden chairs and tables which were spotless and large square umbrellas. The menu for Sunday lunch was diverse and interesting and the quality of the food served was excellent which for our party of four included soup, marinated trout and goat cheese tartlet as starters: roast beef, roast lamb, and hake (a change from the menu at my request) with attractive vegetables as mains: and indulgent profiteroles and pavlova to follow. Service was excellent and despite the distance from the kitchen our dishes arrived fresh and at the right temperature. We were not rushed, indeed they were serving afternoon tea at other tables by the time we left. We were tempted, but we had already eaten very well! It was an excellent leisurely lunch in a beautiful country setting on a perfect English summer day. We have previously eaten inside in Harry's elegant restaurant and also thoroughly enjoyed our meal

had afternoon tea at the chase yesterday. greeted by receptionist who told us that tea was being served in the bar which was a lovely airy and light room.
tea and coffee arrived , of which there was plenty. then the afternoon tea arrived a selection of finger sandwiches which were lovely. small quiche, tartlets and chocolate cakes, strawberry panne cotta and fruit scones , clotted cream and jam, all of which were most enjoyable. all in all a very nice afternoon experience.

We stayed at this beautiful Hotel on route to a wedding at Llangadog.
Hotel in beautiful grounds.
The views were spectacular.
Hotel very comfortable & very clean.
Our room was very very small not much passing room in there .
We could not have stayed more than one night in the room.
The staff were friendly & helpful apart from the younger man with glasses
& beard wearing a suit on the Thursday Evening & at breakfast the Friday
Morning .He was polite but unfriendly & looked bored.
It does not cost anything to smile.
Sadly our breakfast was poor , the scrambled egg with smoked salmon
was Luke warm.
This was still minus my moans a lovely place to stay.

Room Tip: Make sure you choose a bigger beadroom
