My husband and I visited this beautiful place with my son and daughter-in-law, we will definitely return on our next visit to the area.

We love Rutland Water. Very friendly location with a range of habitats. Very flat and ideal for walking, cycling or running.

Make sure you take in the amazing Ospreys!

Where can you go to be be 'beside the seaside' without all the candy floss and kiss -me-quick hats? Rutland Water of course! It does help when the weather is fine and warm but at any time of year this attraction can be enjoyed by all ages. Peace and tranquility despite a number of people around, in fact, the true beauty of the place brings out the best in visitors with everyone being friendly and passing the time of day. So much to see (and do if you want to) but many visitors seem to just sit and take in the views. It really is a place to take the family to as there is so much open space.
