Great location just opposite the park so if you have young ones it’s great my son loved it. Just to sort a stroll to the Beach. As for apartment itself absolutely spotless and modern. Very comfortable beds televisions in all rooms reasonable Wi-Fi. The only downside I can see was the parking situation it is a bit tight. Also has a link with another hotel so you can use their swimming pool what was handy.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for two nights. We were able to check in a couple of hours early which was great. Friendly staff and a breakfast pack upon arrival. The apartment had everything we needed but was a bit cramped with six of us. We would opt for a three bedroom when staying again.

We used the Leisure facilities at their sister hotel which is a lovely walk or a couple of minutes drive in the car.

We do rely on the complementary wifi when going away as we take our teenage daughter and 11 year old son who both take a friend each. We fill our days but then are always back just after teatime when they like to hook up phones, xbox and so on. The wifi wasn't great for this but it is complementary so it's not a complaint!

Hadn’t realised we had to call at various locations to find Reception! But after heading down some stairs l wasn’t impressed at ending up in a dark room with dirty laundry piled up. My 4 star boutique/luxury expectations were disappearing at this point. The lady was helpful and allowed us to check in a little bit early but l had to explain my booking (which l had done direct over the phone) as she couldn’t work it out from the handwritten list on the table. Then it went downhill as she showed us around the back (heading past someone else’s bedroom) and had to kick the door open with her foot. (We struggled to open the door from the inside after this as no handle) Not even a mat to wipe your feet on, straight onto the already stained carpet. My son pointed out that the architrave was falling off the shower room doorframe. My Mum pointed out that there weren’t any plug sockets to enable the mirror to be used in one of the bedrooms and one settee was low and saggy. Not even a shelf in the bathroom. There were 2 nail heads protruding from the door and wall in one of the bedrooms. We found the ‘breakfast basket’ the most entertaining: one packet of crumpets and ONE 30g pack of cereal!!! It was only on my return and on reading the poor and terrible reviews that l realised that the room we had was the one that featured the most. Definitely not 4 star. Please don’t be fooled by the description and the photographs.

Room Tip: I wouldn’t recommend the ground floor ‘annexe’-3 bed apartment around the back.

Would recommend here for a few days away. Spacious 1 bed apartment, kids on sofa bed in living room. Mini home from home. Welcome pack on arrival. Short walk to main shopping street and restaurants. Lovely walk along the promenade. Plenty to fill a few days up. We will stay here again
