“Wow lovely and feels like home.”
Reviewed 5 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We arrived at the lodge on the 28 th August for the bank holiday,on arrival we were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. The lodge is decorated with a lot of soft furnishings and seaside designs to.My seven year old son loved having his own en suite in his bedroom plus there is plenty of space to hang his clothes something you don't always get in some children's bedrooms, the space outside the lodge is a great size; my son rode around on his scooter and I knew he was safe because the garden is secured with fencing and a large double gate. The lodge was very clean and the kitchen was spotless with plenty of cooking utensils, washing machine and small dining table.Another great bonus about the lodge is the location it's a 5-10 minute stroll into St Anne's shopping centre with lots of restaurants, pubs and yummy bakery's.To many to choose from but our favourite has to be Vanilla. The beach and pier is just five minutes away with lots of activities,we played crazy golf on there.I will be returning to the lodge again and I have recommended this to my parents and some friends.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 28 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed here for a week with our 2 young girls (6&2). It was simply....perfect. We hadn't even unpacked the car and we instantly knew we had found our home from home. As regular visitors to the area (we have family there) we are delighted to have found this little gem. It has everything you need and the space outside was perfect for the girls to ride round on their bikes. The house is light and fresh and the addition of the sunroom was a real bonus. We've already booked to return in October and its safe to say all future visits to the area will be booked around the availability of St George's lodge. Thank you Alan & Joy for being so welcoming, see you again soon. The Burns Family.

“Gem of a place, a real find.”
Reviewed 23 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed over weekend of 22nd August 2015 - 4 adults
Couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at this stunning cottage in Lytham St Anne's. With a lovely warm welcome from Alan and Joy, the owners for whom nothing was too much trouble, we even booked direct by ringing Alan on his mobile, it exceeded our expectations on every level, from the moment you walked through the door, you immediately felt at ease and this little gem of a place was just like your very own beach retreat, so light and comfortable. The lovely modern decor is fresh and the beds are so, so comfortable, couldn't fault it. The day beds in the sun room were a great addition too.
It is situated within a gentle 5 - 10 minute stroll to everything you could possibly need, town centre shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants and right on the doorstep of the lovely Ashton Gardens.
I can wholeheartedly recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Lytham St Anne's .

“Fantastic discovery!”
Reviewed 17 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed in this lovely seaside location with kids (aged 14 and 24!) for a glorious week of mostly sunshine! Alan kindly picked us up from train station and with his partner Joy gave us a tour of the lodge. Beautifully decorated, private, comfortable and roomy seaside retreat. Very well-equipped and close to beautiful beach, shops and restaurants.
We were really sad to leave at the end of our week and hope to return next year!
Definitely recommended!
Thanks Alan and Joy!

“A relaxing holiday hideaway”
Reviewed 8 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We stayed for almost a week and had a great time which suited us and my elderly mother. The bungalow was well decorated and equipped to feel bright and spacious and had the bonus of a sunroom which, in effect, gave us 2 living rooms during the day.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful and met us on arrival with the kettle on and a bottle of cava at the ready. In a perfect world the kitchen would be a little larger but I'm nitpicking and it worked fine for cooking and dining. The washing machine was great and you could ring the changes by eating in the sun room.
The central location was close to shops and Ashton gardens (with a good tea room) and yet was a very private bungalow with a fair sized outside space for sitting out in the sun and off road parking.
In short, it provided the base for an enjoyable holiday and one we will return to.
