we stayed here for my suprise henny, and i had a fantastic stay, although our room was probably not best one in the hotel and it was a bit chilly in the room, im sure if you asked for a better room when booking they would have no problem.
the hotel is obviously slowly getting made more modern as the other girls had better more modern rooms and decor.
the breakfasts was to die for so good, and i asked to remove some items from the full breakfast which they happily done.
the staff is so friendly considering we were a hen party and not the quietest of bunch we where treated brilliantly and even given an extra 2 hrs checkout so we could rest after our night out.
i would definatly recommend staying here, and if you want a better up to date room just ask. :)

Room Tip: ask for a modern room

Can be busy but friendly staff ushered us to bar next door, part of the hotel for great pub food on our first visit.
Restaurant slightly old fashioned but good food and good service for our second night's meal. Dependably good food in a comfortable restaurant.
We didn't stay there this time, but we probably should have!

Room Tip: Right on the harbour and almost in the Main Street. Great location.

A classy establishment in one of the most northerly part of the U.K. Good food, excellent rooms, and first class service. Lovely location, making for a great stay, made all the better by friendly natives.

We stayed here as part of a Highland Experience tour. The room was comfortable. Staff at bar and restaurant were wonderful. We slept well and enjoyed walking across the street in the morning to watch the harbor. Our room was above an active bar, but closing the window was effective in damping noise. I would stay here again. The double door elevator did cause problems occasionally, but staff would dash up and take care of when needed. A member of our party was having a birthday and they made a fruit and meringue "take away" so we could celebrate on the ferry. Breakfast, very nice. We also ate an evening meal here and it was very good.

Room Tip: Away from the street

Decor was a bit dated in the room, you felt it had seen better days, but hotel's full of character. Good bar, good restaurant, comfy beds, reception were friendly and helpful & wi-fi in my room, good.Love the tartan stair-carpet. If I stayed again I'd definitely have a harbour view room...

Room Tip: harbour views lovely from all the front rooms. The webcam's right at the top of the building I t...
