We had eaten here before and saw they did a roast lunch on sundays so we decided we would come. Absolutely beautiful thick slices of beef and Plenty of potatoes and vegetables. Large portion for a small price. The guy bringing our food was so polite and nothing was too much for him
Will be going again and have recommended this place to others

We were visiting Halifax to see some friends, the snow was coming down very harshly. We were stood outside waiting for a bus, but no buses seemed to be coming. My husband has very bad arthritis and was crippled in pain, a lady with pink hair came out and asked if we would like to come inside & keep warm out of the horrid snow storm. She told us to sit near the radiator by the window so that we could still see the bus stop and buses. As courtesy for her kindness we gave her some money (not much just a few pound) as a thank you, she walked towards the bar and came back with 2 cups of coffee that she had bought with the money we had just given to her, she told us she didn't do it because she wants something in return, she did it because it was the right thing to do.
Before we return home were going to go back and have some lunch there with our friends, hopefully we will see her to thank her for her kindness again.
