We visited on Easter Sunday so it was quite busy. There is a carpark. No toilets. On the day we went a can was selling hot drinks. You can walk right up to the statue. Plenty of photo opportunities as there is a big grassy area around it.

You definitely need to stop and walk up to The Angel to get the true size...its amazing even on a cold wet day. It's impressive from A1 and even better up close.

An Angel that is seen from miles away, built near an old mine at Team Valley which is now a retail park. Some lovely views from this raised area. Nice place to park up and have a picnic.

Have never spent a large amount of time here, but have driven passed a few times at this is an intriguing piece of architecture. If I ever get more time in the area I will certainly visit properly

Took this 'icon' in whilst visiting the North east. No regrets excellent getting close up with the Angel. An excellent visit, even more so because it was free! Excellent car park close by. There are no facilities.
