Two couples run the shop, take bookings and keep the site spotless. They will mangle your tent pegs with the ride on mower....
We stayed for 10 days and were advised on the best pitch, with great sunset views to be appreciated. Sadly we were so exhausted after long days enjoying ourselves, that we were abed before the Sun.
The site is near to Bodinick (which has a pub) and a short ferry ride to the flesh pots of Fowey. Word of warning, all roads are steep and narrow. We brought bikes and wished we had electric assist! Being followed up a single track 10% slope with grass in the middle, by a big wagon is not for the faint hearted- my better half sought solace in falling off in front of one of them! The driver laughed, but didn't run her over.
We will be back.More
