Large restaurant which was busy at lunchtime. Service good and friendly. Lots of choices on the menu and we were spoilt for choice. In the end we all had pizzas which were great. Desserts looked lovely and home made but we were limited on time so passed on them - next time!

Arrived at 7.30 with our party of 12 having been informed there was no need to preorder. 9pm the starters arrived followed by the main course at 10. Service was incredibally slow. Only had two drinks all night as staff were too busy arguing with the chef and bald headed waiter. On complaining I was tod not to exaggerate. One of our group went to the local pub between courses as he couldn't get served. Then they over charged us and that's not including the 10% service charge they added on. Food was mediocre to tasteless, poor lamb shank. £45 per head really not value for money.

My daughter and her fiance specifically chose to come to this restaurant for their special engagement meal with the family. I wanted this to be a special night for them. It was a complete letdown to say the least. I asked for an announcement to be made that they were celebrating their engagement... they got the name completely wrong! No idea where the name Adam came from! The food was disappointing... the mushroom starters were disgraceful... one portobello mushroom cut into small pieces with abit of garlic butter and literally half a tiny cherry tomato for £5.50! Then we had to wait nearly 2 hours for our main courses!... we were a table of 10 people and ordered nothing complicated or complex... spagetti bolognese, pizza's, chicken with a piece of ham and slice of cheese on it, tagliatelle.... We saw people arriving after us, having their meals and leaving whilst we sat there waiting to be served our main meals. The restaurant was busy however there was no reason whatsoever for our meals to take this length of time and when they did arrive nearly two hours later the quality was poor especially the chicken with cheese/ham slice. Understandably we did not feel like having desserts by this time and just wanted to leave. I do not normally write reviews however the lack of service, long delay and poor quality/quantity of food sadly ruined their special evening. The response to my complaint when I spoke the restaurant was totally unsatisfactory so we will not be returning there again nor recommending this to anyone. Very disappointed that this special celebration was ruined.
