“A perfect, luxurious, homely feel two-storey apartment...wish we were there again!”
Reviewed 8 November 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We spent a wonderful week in the gorgeous Callander Apartment...it has everything you could possibly wish for & more!
From the minute we booked we knew it would be first class - the owners, Richard & Anne-Marie were so welcoming, contacting us with lots of information and handy tips and anything we asked was no bother with prompt replies.
When we arrived we found this quaint, quirky Main Street & got parked easily outside the front door. Entering the apartment and heading upstairs we were absolutely astounded by the size of living space...each room is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and the most comfortable super-sized beds we have ever slept in!
The apartment has such a homely feel in it we immediately relaxed - Richard and Anne-Marie have thought of everything that would make your stay perfect...from the plentiful towels, kitchen equipment including plastic items for children (for absolutely everything!), books, games, dvds, toys, even bath toys to keep our little ones entertained.
The welcome book was packed full of information and things to do in and around Callander...we had a nice walk around the main town such lovely locals and independent shops (the tourist information across the road is well worth a visit for things to do in the surrounding areas as well as gifts to take home).
There were so many things to do - swimming pool, beautiful walks, visit to Loch Lomond, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Brairs Farm for Strawberry Picking & Pony Treking.
Callander is such a beautiful place and we can’t wait to visit again!
We will definitely be booking The Callander Apartment anytime we do & recommending it to our friends...you will love it

“Very comfortable stay”
Reviewed 31 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Just return from a lovely stay in Callander.
We just wanted to say thanks to Richard and Anne-Marie for making the house so comfortable to stay in.

The house itself is really deceiving as it's just a small door on the Main Street.

The bedrooms are huge and the beds the best I've ever slept in. The decor is lovely and all rooms have their own style but all very clean and tidy and well kept.

The bathroom is clean and tidy and has a bath and shower which is brilliant. The towels are huge and fluffy which is always a good thing.

The living room/kitchen dinning room is great because you can make dinner and speak at the same time. It's not looked into so feels very private at the same time. The couches are very comfortable and the kitchen provides all the things you need to live with.

The house heats up very well and was always warm and homely.

There really isn't anything else that you could possibly ask for in the house and we had a really lovely time staying here.

I sent a few emails to the owners Richard and Anne-Marie who got back to me quickly and very very helpful. I would recommend this lovely house as a base when staying in Callander.

“Superb luxury self-catering accommodation”
Reviewed 16 September 2017 for a stay in September 2017

This beautiful duplex apartment is in a fantastic location for all local amenities. Although described as an apartment, it is a large two-storey property with it's own entrance at street level. The property is furnished to an extremely high standard and very well equipped for both adults and children. The owners have thought of everything, even down to bath toys for children! The bedrooms are spacious and luxurious and the best we have experienced in self catering accommodation. Our king size bed would rival any top hotel for quality, comfort and luxury bedding. We would highly recommend this fantastic property and will definitely return.

“Flawless.......”

After a long drive up from Northern England we were surprised to find that Callander was only just under an hour from Glasgow. Although the scenery would suggest we were in the far north of Scotland (Having never been to the Trossachs before I was blown away by its beauty). After chatting to the owner via email. We knew their was no designated parking for the apartment but managed to get parked around the corner, which was literally a 60 second walk to the front door and we parked their all week. On entering the apartment you are faced with a large hallway with a hardwood floor which was ideal for keeping the two bikes. Then up the spiral staircase to the first floor which is where the three double bedrooms and the family bathroom are located. The whole apartment seemed like it had just been decorated or it was just maintained to a high standard. We are seasoned holiday home guests as we never go abroad and the first thing which struck us about this holiday home was the quality of the furnishings. (The mattresses were almost as thick as the beds themselves). After a quick look around to allocate the rooms we made our way up to the second floor which Is accessed via another wide staircase. On the second floor you find the main living are( Very large living area, dinning area and kitchen). Which is open plan but is also large enough for it to feel like you are in your own space without losing the social aspect of open plan living. The single bedroom is also located on this floor which was great for keeping an eye on the baby. The decor and fixtures on the second floor are very much in the same vein as that of the first floor. With a modern fitted kitchen with ample crockery and cutlery. (Again a major relief when renting a holiday home). And two large couches and a couple of lounging chairs in the living area. After we got settled in we had a look at the information pack the owners had compiled for there guests, which was very comprehensive and informative. (You always research the local area but nothing beats a bit of local knowledge). Callander is a lovely Highland town and the Apartment is situated right at the heart of it on the Main Street. The town is full of very interesting gift shops, cafes, pubs and of course the fudge shop which we must have visited most days. Just a short drive away we visited Doune Castle, the Deanston Distillery and Blair Drummond safari park, to name just a few. We had six dry days out of seven which I know from many previous visits north of the boarder is a bit like winning the lottery and we will definitely plan a trip here again in May/June time. And the Callander apartment is number one on our return to list.

“:perfect place for a perfect break.”
Reviewed 25 July 2017 for a stay in May 2017

My wife and I stayed at the Callander Apartment for a week-end in May of this year.
It is conveniently situated in the main street of Callander a quaint town with all the amenities you would require for a long or short stay. The Callander Apartment is spacious well equipt and spotless and as soon as we arrived we felt right at home.
The bedrooms are large and tastefully decorated in keeping with the rest of the apartment. The kitchen/dinning area is also well equipt and spotless with everything you could possible need for your stay. There are even games, toys, books and DVD,s available for all ages. It is without doubt a 5 star venue we could not fault it in any way shape or form and most certainly recommend a visit.
