“Wow, stunning lodge, relaxing location, fantastic holiday!”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

From the moment we pulled up outside Keepers Lodge we were impressed. It's the newest lodge on the park and it just oozes appeal!

The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is huge, my children didn't know which way to run to investigate first! The lounge, with it's lovely comfy sofas, is so welcoming and relaxing. I can imagine it in the winter, warmed by the lovely fire place. And the breakfast bar was a real hit with the children who loved it when I served them their breakfast over the counter. The kitchen is very well equipped with so much crockery you could never run out. There was even a bread maker and coffee machine. As someone who enjoys cooking I was very taken with the hob which was touch screen! In the dining area, the dining table was large enough to seat us all (5) and not feel cramped - very spacious.

From the lounge/dining/kitchen area there are lovely views of the lake through the wall to ceiling glazed doors - and even better from the deck outside. We sat out on many an evening listening to the ducks on the lake, very peaceful, and the fairy lights around the railings were a lovely addition. We saw a Heron and also the "Mummy Deer" with her baby.

There is a grassed area just outside the lodge which is excellent for playing a bit of badminton or soft ball games with the children.

The lodge is positioned in a very peaceful area but not far away from the activities and entertainment that Warmwell has to offer (swimming pool, amusement arcade, etc.). The bedrooms were equally spacious and plenty of storage too. Both the shower in the main bedroom and in the bathroom were also spacious. The bath was just lovely! I've never been in a roll top bath before! Very luxurious!

Pam, the owner, is very helpful and booking is really easy. We have stayed at Warmwell a number of times and have stayed in Pam's other lodges (Kingfisher Haven and Kingfisher Retreat) so I would not hesitate to recommend any of these....but Keepers Lodge is now my favourite!!!
