Room very comfortable and clean, which cannot be said about the restaurant. At breakfast there were tables which were not cleared of dirty crockery, the two girls who were in attendance seemed to prefer chatting and disappearing altogether.

Another massive thumbs up to Premier Inn. An immaculate modern premises within 10 minutes walk of the railway station. Good sized room for our family (2 adults, 2 children). Restaurant looked very nice, although we didn't use it on this occasion. Super staff let us leave our bags before check in time so we could carry on with the day.

Been to a lot of hotels in England but this is the best for a bed for the night and breakfast super. The Staff are excellent lovely front of house girl scouser can't do enough and the rest of the girls spot on.The price is good and 2 mins to bars will Def be back with our golf society. Premier Inn management take a look as this is a flag ship in Wigan.

Just spent one night here and from start to finish I can only praise the young team that front this hotel. Room was clean, spacious and well equipped. No noise from outside or in. Great nights sleep and a really first class breakfast. All hot food cooked to order and no food sitting under heat lamps. Will use next time we have to visit Wigan.

As the old.police station converted into a hotel you will get a quiet night's sleep given the 2 foot thick concrete walls.

It's clean and friendly so a great option but....

Everytime I stay (which is often) they always complain of food and alcohol deliveries not turning up and empty fridges. And Premier Inns menu is always fried food, covered in cheese or microwaved but in a town of pies this can fly.

Don't drive here as the car park if usually packed by 3pm and why should guests pay when staff as taking those spaces.

But all in all, great value, great nights sleep and a few things that could be improved. But that's everywhere isn't it.
