Room was basic but clean and comfortable.

Parking at the hotel was not free and had to be paid for every day which was very annoying, As trying carry in sleeping children and purchasing a parking ticket was not easy.
It would be much better if you could pay for the parking for your entire stay on your first day or charge a slightly higher room rate to incorporate the cost of the car parking.

Also we borrowed an iron which so basic you couldn't iron anything, irons could do with updating.

The put up beds for the kids in the family room was so uncomfortable, they need to be changed

Stayed with my 3 children. Hotel was conveniently located not far from town centre, parking was easy and rooms clean and comfortable. Good choice of food at breakfast and a lot of other families staying so quite a relaxing place to stay all in all.

Can not fault the location. Room clean and tidy with plenty of space. We had a ground floor room. People above us was having a party from around 10pm-3am on the Saturday evening resulting in none of us sleeping well. Reception didn't want to know, all they could say was oh sorry. Didn't eat on site. Would be useful for the hotel to have an onsite cash machine as nearest one is in Paignton town that's free. Not sure if we will be returning which is a shame as visited for 3 years running with no problems

Thank you for your review and we are sincerely sorry for the disturbance you experienced during your stay. Whilst we do ensure that a member of staff patrols the corridors in the later hours and we do request that guests observe reasonable noise levels, we do apologise that these measures were not enough to make your stay more comfortable. Please rest assured we will pass on your feedback to the Hotel, so it may be looked into further. Thank you again for your review and we do hope this has not deterred you from staying with us in the future.

Short family break to the close prior to Xmas. The hotel is typical for a Travelodge being in so much it is great value for money for good budget accomodation. Ideally located near the seafront and far enough away from the bright neon lights of the pier / amusement arcades.
The hotel has a decent bar and restaurant, which in fact served a very good breakfast with plenty of choice on offer. Far better than a recent breakfast in a Holiday Inn Express.
The rooms were good, ours located on the third floor looked over the park area at the rear. Quiet, clean with a very comfortable bed, so no complaints.
For a family of four paid £59 for one night including breakfast - great value.
Only real negative is the parking. There was no space in the hotel car park which I think cost £6 for the night. So parked for free in a side street about five minutes walk away.

Room Tip: Always go for a room at the end of a corridor, no-one passing late at night to make a noise.

As these type of places go it was OK. Not busy but a £6 charge for parking on site, poor quality breakfast even though cooked (microwaved??) to order.

The most annoying thing was a random individual who seemed very friendly with the staff and although not a resident, hovered with his dog around the lounge area and by the door passing comments on guests and attempting (with frustrating frequency) to indulge in people's company. As a late arrival for me, he was still there at 1.30am ingratiating himself whilst I ordered a night cap.

For £35 for the night plus £7 or so for breakfast it was good value but not a good experience and here are better B&B's or hotels nearby worth looking at.
