We were visiting Paignton and decided last minute to do an overnight stay. I found this hotel online, and was a little dubious as it was quite cheap compared to some of the other hotels and B&B's in Paignton but I looked at the reviews and decided to book it. I'm so glad we did, we had a lovely little family room (room 2) it had a double bed, a single bed and a fairly big camp bed, which was perfect for my husband and me and two children aged 13 and 9. We had tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer and a TV in the room and I noticed in the hallway an iron and ironing board.
The shower room was very small but fine for a night or two. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds comfy.
The next morning at breakfast there was lots on offer and it was fabulous. We all had a cooked breakfast and couldn't fault a thing.
It is a little dated but the staff friendly and room very clean what more can you ask for especially for the price! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to family and friends.

We were greeted by the lovely landlady who directed my husband to where he could park the car, which was at the rear of the building.
We were allocated room 5. The room was a double and was nicely appointed. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom had a nice shower within it. Tea and coffee was available in the room.

The only thing I would say would improve the stay was to replace the double duvet to a king size one as we found it a little small.

The breakfast was amazing and was cooked by Cliff who was very friendly and helpful. Such fabulous value for money.

How they can do it for the money I just don't know.

We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is nicely positioned in Paignton.

The owners were very friendly and for the money, it was incredible value. We only had breakfast on one day and it was very nice.

The family room (room 2) was nice and the beds comfy. The shower room was very small but the owner did say we could use the larger communal bathroom if we wanted too.

Parking is great and I would stay again if I was looking for low cost accommodation.

The place could do with updating as it is looking very tired. But as said earlier you cant expect the Hilton for this price.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the back if possible

A very warm and welcoming b&b. The owner cliff was very helpful and pleasant. The whole establishment is very clean and well presented. We had room 7 a family room. Very well appointed with ample tea/coffee facilities. Hair dryer is provided and there is a iron and board on each level. The breakfasts are good! The landlady is very accommodating with choices. Wifi is available but very hit and miss on top floor where we were so my teen preferred to sit in the lounge . This place is about a 10 min walk into town and the pier. Some lovely places to explore and Torquay is short drive away. Nearest pub/restaurant is captain jacks.. my advice don't bother there!! Much better places around. All in all we had a lovely stay at the rosslyn and would recommend.
