As soon as you drive in through the gates you know you have arrived somewhere a little special. A gated garden was perfect for my parents dog, who was able to wonder in and out of the cottage and there was no fear of loosing her. Plenty of parking and the outside space is perfect for children. Lots to entertain them, trampoline, see saw, swings and slide. Large patio area with plenty of seating. Games in the storage boxes. As you enter the house you walk straight into a lovely open plan kitchen equipped with everything! I do mean everything! John and Louise had provided milk, fresh strawberries and cream, flowers,.chocolates, jam and bread( this was mainly to feed the badgers!) kitchen roll..and thoughtfully two little gift bags for my two sons.. There are plenty of items for the children to play with, including a games console and football table. A buggy was left for us, as were monitors and stair gates! This truly is a home from home. Beds were comfortable and there was no fear of being chilly either. Niton is a lovely area and easily accessible to many parts of the island fairly quicky. The Buddle Inn did not disappoint and provided us with some very good meals and we could walk! The China House in Ventnor serves a good takeaway too, but a 15min drive to collect. The children loved the house and were sorry to leave. John and Louise maintain excellent communication and are on hand if you need anything, We will def go back and I highly recommend Camelia Cottage.

“Beautiful cottage, lovely location, will be going back to stay next year...”

We stayed in this cottage during the Easter holiday period 2016, the cottage was beautiful, well kept and very clean. We have 3 young children and they had a great time, they really enjoyed leaving food out for the badgers of an evening and waiting quietly for them to arrive.
The cottage had everything you could possible need and is by far the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.
We would definitely recommend this place.

We had a lovely break away. It was our first time at camellia and we will be returning with friends. The garden was perfect for our little boy and there were good walks with a nice pub nearby. Just what we were looking for.
