Went with family to the Sunday brunch, and it was fantastic! We sat by the window so had a great view of the harbor. The buffet consists of colds (e.g., smoked salmon, salads, potato salad, green salad), carvery (i.e., beef, turkey, lamb), and desserts (e.g., bars, mousse, pie, cream puffs) and cheese board.

Enjoyed the Festive Lunch carvery. We particularly enjoy self-service buffets, and this one was very good. An imaginative range of starters - lots of sea food. Only one choice of carvery - Turkey - but it was nicely cooked, and tender. Vegetables were crunchy; I prefer them soft, but the buttered parsnips were a nice touch. Wide range of self-service sweets, mostly bought-in, I think. The Christmas pud with custard was really tasty and could have been home-made. So I had a double portion. Finished off with coffee (not as hot as it could have been) but had no room for hot mince pies. At £17 per head this was a bargain.

Terrible restaurant. Starter table is all cold food, that has been out all evening and looking very tired. The Carvery is just a single dried out meat with soggy vegetables not refreshed all evening. Service is slow. Drinks a rip off - baileys is only 25ml not the usual 50ml. Car parking also charged despite free street parking. They are out to get every nickel and dime offering poor quality in exchange. Avoid.

Had a family meal here on father's day. It was busy so book in advance. A decent selection of cold buffet starter, service was on the slow side for drinks etc. Main meal is a carvery and was fine, though an extra slice or two of meat would be welcome. A good choice of cold desserts. Some people many find the piano player annoying but I'm sitting on the fence on this one. Also there is now a parking tax! What's that all about? I've deducted the rating because of that money grabbing trick.
