We live on the Isle of Man and wanted to spend a night in Peel along with my sister and brother in law so we could have an evening out without having to use a taxi. We found Albany House online and were very glad we did. The house and rooms are beautiful and incredibly equipped. The range of hot drinks were great and the tin of biscuits was a lovely addition. The bathroom not only had good quality shampoo and shower gel but also bubble bath and a box of all sorts of items you might have forgotten. There was even a full sized sewing kit in the bedroom! The quality of bedding was superb and we all enjoyed our delicious cooked breakfast. There are plenty of walking books and maps to borrow if you plan some hiking. Best of all Nikki and Nigel were lovely hosts so you feel like a guest in their home. We will return at some point for a couple of nights stay and walking. Thank you, Cathy and Paul.

This was my 9th or 10th visit to the Isle, and Albany House is my favorite - and now only! - place to stay. Nikki and Nigel really do make this special place feel like home. Thoughtful touches like remembering that I love golden syrup porridge pots or re-stocking the biscuit tin after my husband gobbles all the treats are so hugely appreciated. We were so grateful to Nikki and Nigel for taking us to the airport at a beastly early hour, even offering us tea, coffee, and breakfast before we left. I'm convinced that better hosts would be impossible to find; they really do seem more like friends.

The Fraser Room is ideal for stays of several days (we were there for 5 nights), plenty of room to move around without tripping over luggage and a good sized closet to unpack. The huge bed practically demands a lie-in, with sufficient covers to banish the cold. The bathroom is so large and having both a shower and bath is a real plus, as is the heated floor (love it!). It's a quiet room and set a bit apart from the others.

Special mention must be made of the newest family members, Freddy and Maye. These adorable and spunky shelties will give every dog lover yet another reason to have Albany House as the clear sole choice for their accommodation, whether in Peel or the Isle. I can't wait for our next visit.

Room Tip: Osborn Room: quiet, cozy room perfect for shorter stays. The Yellow Room: spacious and has a massive bathroom, excellent for longer stays.

This b&b is probably the best b&b we have ever stayed! From the pick up at the airport, the narrative on the way, the wonderful rooms, the amazing breakfasts and then the drop off, everything was perfect! The little touches from Nikki and Nigel made our stay so special, nothing was too much trouble. When we return, we will definitely stay here.

As always we had a wonderful stay with Nikki and Nigel this Christmas. We felt completely at home and spoiled rotten. Amazing breakfast and loved the sweet touches of Christmas gifts too. The room had everything we needed from teas and coffee to cookies and sweets and everything else you could want. Thanks Nikki and Nigel for another wonderful stay!
