Lovely gardens with lots of flowers and bushes of different colours. The sculptures are stylish and the volunteers who talked about the old cars and motorbikes were amusing. Not large but worth a visit and also nice looking tearooms with space outside. The cakes looked amazing!

Location is lovely, the food is lovely but seems a little over priced for the portion sizes.
The service is the let down though, dirty dishes left on the table and refills Or additional drinks offered

Tis beautiful house and gardens is well worth a visit. The on site cafe serves delicious food and this includes the best Afternoon Tea I have experienced for quite some time. Parking is relatively easy too and there are designated parking spaces for 'blue badge' holders.

Visited Milntown on 20th July intending to have just coffee but the setting was so beautiful and the menu so appetising that we decided to stay for lunch. Even though it was a Monday every table except one was booked and the whole place seemed lively and vibrant which was great to see. A real tonic after the past few months! But it was the food that blew me away. I had the salmon mousse and salad and it was the most sublime food I've tasted in a long time. Only a small dish but what a punch of flavour! And served with perfectly thin toast - almost like Melba toast - which added to the delicacy of the dish. Even three days later I keep still thinking about it. My friend had the prawn and avocado salad which she also enjoyed very much. Everything looked so fresh and appealing - it makes such a difference. Service was also very good, lovely and friendly. A walk in the garden after lunch just rounded off a perfect 'treat' experience. The flowers are all at their peak at the moment and form a stunning display. Thankyou Milntown. A very special place to revive the spirits and treat ALL the senses.
