Description: Dinner served Wednesday to Sunday, last orders 8.45pm. Lunch served Thursday to Sunday, last orders 2.45pm. Under new management since August 2016, The Tipsy Laird is a traditional village pub in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park with a great range of local Malt Whiskies, Scottish Gins & Cask Ales, and a fantastic food offering at affordable prices, with daily specials as well. The Tipsy Laird boasts a stunning South facing beer garden, perfect for lunch on a weekend or a quiet pint in the evening. Or if you prefer the indoors, we have plenty of seating in the bar & restaurant areas, with a roaring fire for the winter months. We are family & dog friendly, although please note persons under the age of 18 (this includes babies) are not permitted on the premises after 8.30pm unless consuming a meal. Please note that restaurant service concludes at 9pm every night. Dinner reservations are recommended, especially from May - September & during school holiday times.

Everywhere else was booked, thank goodness! Or we wouldn't have stumbled on this lovely wee pub serving tasty scottish fare, beautifully cooked and presented. The decor underpins the traditional feel of the place and the youthful staff are charming and helpful.

With a log burning fire, good selection of beers and friendly service this pub was a find on a cold snowy day. Good food - even gluten free bread to accompany their home-made soup.

On the main street so easy to find, we went there because of all the goods reviews. Food was okay, gammon nice, cheese not so good. Service not that great. Would not go back as lots of other options available.

Stopped in here whilst staying in Kingussie. Friendly pub with a fire was exactly what we needed in the cold temperatures.
