“Tight and muddled golf course”

We played the course for the first time and were disappointed by the tight lay-out of the course and the number of cross-over holes. The course was busy and play was slow, and there were many cries of 'fore'. We found we had to be very wary of other players.
The lay-out of some holes seemed very poor e.g. The par three 16th, where after playing the hole you had to walk back up to the same tee to play the 17th.
All that said the course was in good condition and a reasonable test of golf.

Stopped by for a daily breakfast!

Full English was delicious and really well cooked.

Prices are really reasonable approx £7 for a full breakfast, £9 for the kraken (huge breakfast) both are well recommended!

Right on the beach and the two owners are really welcoming

A goup of Rotary friends had a New Year day walk followed by an excellent buffet lunch here. We were well looked after and the food was superb. Great views too!
We had our grandchildren aged 5 and 2, the only youngsters there that day and staff spoilt them with extra "pigs in blankets" which were not even on the menu!

Really nice Restaurant over looking the sea, we had a Sunday Cavery there, it was really good, and not very expensive either. Fantastic Views of The North Devon Coast Line.

We had a lovely carvery lunch at the golf club. There was a good selection of meats (4 on our visit) roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and veg. The views were outstanding. There was a good selection of drinks. Both the food and drinks were reasonably priced. The children in our party were made to feel very welcome and there was lots of room for them to run around in. A gem for a lovely family carvery.
