1 review Just spent a brilliant couple of days on a girlie weekend away. Stunning cottage in a perfect location. The cottage was very well equipped any very spacious and clean. Lovely little private courtyard at the back with ample seating for everyone. Would highly recommend for both groups and families as everything you need. Very, very, very comfy bed!!! Great bars/pubs just across the road, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Will definitely be booking to stay again!!!!

No 2 The Ropery is a fabulous place to stay in Pickering. It is in a great location with plenty of amenities close by. The cottage is kept in pristine condition with modern decoration. The owners left a welcome gift which was a lovely gesture. I will return to this cottage many times. It just feels like home .

have just had a wonderful weekend at No 2 the Ropery with extended family . WOW what a lovely house . We have visited many different cottages over the years but this has to be the best so far. Alison was more than helpful and a pleasure to deal with right from the start,. the house is amazing and Alison has just about thought of everything. It felt like home as soon as we went in . we had such a great time in such a wonderful house . we loved it and would certainly return . I would DEFINATELY recommend this lovely house to everyone . Fantastic house in the heart of Pickering. Extremely well equipped and genuinely felt like home. Very well located for easy journeys both to York and to the coast. This truly is a high quality house with first class service and communication with the owners. Split over 3 floors there is plenty of room. The location whilst central in Pickering is quiet, yet convenient for the local amenities. First class.

Our recent visit to this absolutely 'stunning 'cottage was just fantastic. Al had covered every eventuality and we felt so welcome. It was beautiful, charming and we felt it lacked for nothing. It is positioned right at the heart of Pickering centre so if we had needed anything, it
was only a few yards to the nearest supermarket, pubs and wine bar. Pickering is a beautiful little market town with the North York Moors steam train adjacent to the property. This was not open on our visit but its only to be expected in winter. Scarborough, Whitby, Malton and Helmsley are only half an hours drive away,each worthy of a visit.We had such a lovely time at the cottage and would highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.Thanks for a beautiful home from home.x lynn and Rob.
