This is a lovely place and if our weather was a bit warmer it would be outstanding! The coastline from Bangor up to Donaghadee is worth driving along and hug the sea for as much as possible.

This place was dog poop paradise, you literally had to watch your feet.Don't know what type of people walk their dogs here. Will not under any circumstances be back.Bangor sea front has the odd irresponsible dog walker but not on the scale .

its not very clean, and you get to many people out with there dogs, and running about children.also dog owners should lift there poo bags instead of them lying on the beach for children to pick up.

Visiting Bangor from the Republic and was looking for a local beach for kids 9,6,3. Handy to park right beside the beach, but keep an eye out for the narrow lane you must go down, no signage.. Spent 3 hours there with kids in and out of water, looking for crabs and paddling. No sign of dog fouling as mentioned previously.
